Children and youth ministries
We have Sunday school for children ages 3 through Grade 5 is available during our 10 a.m. worship service, between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Children begin the worship service with their families. Early in the service, we share a message specially geared for children - and then they are invited to head for the Sunday school class. Nursery care for little ones is available at both services.
Middle and High School
Each Wednesday night we have activities include discussing how faith applies to life, games to get acquainted, and videos for discussion.
8th Graders are invited to be part of the confirmation class on Wednesday nights. Confirmation class provides students with opportunity to learn what it means to live as a committed Christian, to be a United Methodist, and to be an active, participating member of Lake Street United Methodist Church.
Sunday school discussion groups are offered on Sunday mornings, sometimes attending the worship service together to discuss the sermon later
