The Mind of a School-Aged Child

We’re thinking this month about how to proclaim the gospel and be the church to people of all ages, and last week I started out by sketching the mind of a preschooler – a mind filled with wonder, mystery, and fear; a mind that is learning to trust. Today we move ahead a few years, to around ages seven to twelve, to examine the mind of a school-aged child. And what a mind it is!
